This is a rather simple project but I thought I would mention it, since it is getting so much attention on Facebook. GPS trackers are commonplace for tracking vehicle movement for both personal and business reasons. Trades like to use them to help with billing, as they can track how long a truck has been at a particular job. Parents like GPS tracking because they can receive alerts if their teenager is driving too fast, or outside of a permitted area. Then, of course, there is the most common usage of being able to use GPS Vehicle or GPS Asset tracking to locate a vehicle or other asset, if it is stolen.

Here is a simple solution to a very real concern. Our custom applications department created this little solution for a mobility walker as the care home staff were concerned about a resident who loves to walk. While she does not have any issues finding her way home, the GPS tracking gave the care home staff that little extra re-assurance they needed.
